To me a country, especially one as big as ours, is an awfully big thing to love. There are people I love, and there have been pets I love, and if I really stretch I can think of a couple of place I love due to memories of time spent there. But the U.S. is such a vast nation ... I doubt I will ever see even .01% of it ... that loving it would be a fulltime job for me. I'd have to spend all my time and money getting to know it better. Me and Iowa haven't even been properly introduced, much less gotten to the heavy petting stage. And what about Hawaii? It's out there in the middle of the pacific ocean.
