<to teach a man to fish than to give him fish> and to teach him about democracy and the rule of law, illegally invade his country and kill tens of thousands of civilians and disband the civil organizations that provide law and order and create conditions of rampant crime, terrorism and civil war -- and when in doubt, shoot them.

And what, exactly, would you know about how liberals allegedly view Arabs? My personal observation from long exposure here is that W's fan club views Arabs through all manner of ridiculous racial stereotypes, vis "The Arab Mind" and similar drivel; unfortunately, "The Arab Mind" garbage is apparently influential in high places.

Meanwhile, the culture war faction of W's base has been at war against the 60s for forever, but that's another story.

"Who was it who said its better to teach a man to fish than to give him fish?"
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Carpe Diem/fish dish of the day.
