Lots of Posts on whether Terri is a vegetable or not. I would submit that the evidentiary test should be like a criminal case of "beyond a reasonable doubt" if you are going to pull the plug. Instead a lesser standard - preponderance of evidence seems to be used as at least one the neurologists on the TV who testified disagreed that she was a vegetable.. Not even the fraud test of clear cogent and convincing evidence is enough I would think. So if you can't all agree on her medical condition, then don't kill her and let her partents look after her.

I had to have an MIR recently....Did insist on an open tube...but even then the top comes down to your nose...AND it was for 65 minutes!!! They said it was the longest they'd seen ordered in a long time...But even with a positive attitude, but claustrophobia, I still ended up getting sick...They could not believe I could stay SO still, and still be so sick, and hit most of the trash can she held for me...

I continued the darn thing, because at that point, I kept telling myself....NO, I do NOT want to do this again....

So kept thinking...."I know I can, I know I can, I know I can...." Just like Little Toot!

It's funny now, but sure wasn't at the time!
