Obviously you have studied the greyhound issue more than I.

I like Springer Spaniels. They are the best. You never see a Springer Spaniel languishing at the pound. They are usually laying at somebody's feet, like mine.

If I take my dog to town and sit on a bench with her, before ten minutes has gone by somebody will come up to pet her or say "I like your dog." It happens EVERY time. Tonight on our walk we passed two little girls raking pine needles. One said "I like your dog!"

By the way, I carry a bag and I pick up after her if needed.

I wrote my mom about the greyhounds. She knows tons of breeders, since she breeds dogs, as do all her friends, and I have no doubt she will know greyhound breeders. I'll ask her what information she can find me about former racing greyhounds as pets.
