What happened to your argument that a president is responsible for everything that happens on his or her watch? In your mind, Bush was responsible for 9/11 simply because it happened during his presidency, even though most of the planning occurred during the administration of his predecessor. In your world he also gets credit for the 2001 recession, which was quite moderate by the way, even though the market tanked early in 2000 and the economy was in free fall. Using your logic, wouldn't it follow that Carter was "responsible" for high interest rates and the fall of the Shah.

One of your problems is that you have no appreciation for the fact that presidents have minimal control over broad historical trends. In case you have not noticed, the world is not black and white. There is no nuance in your arguments, and hence minimal credibility.
