Bin Laudens invested through surrogate Bath in Bush's first company. Bush Sr. was meeting with a Bin Lauden family member on 9-11. The Bushes and Bin Laudens go way back. Bush allowed Bin Lauden family members out of the country right after 9-11 without interrogation. Bin Lauden's brother's ex wife reports Osama celebrated with his family AFTER 9-11 and AFTER Bush told us he was going to get Osama "dead or alive"

Mephisto,

American Spirit is only giving you half of the story, and doing so with no context. James Bath, who was probably working on behalf of Khalid bin Mahfouz, invested $50,000 in two Arbusto partnerships in 1979 and 1980. The money was lost. Mahfouz was not a blood relative of the bin Laden family; he was merely a brother-in-law of Osama bin Laden.

Note the time frame: 1979-1980. This was during the period when Jimmy Carter had started arming the freedom fighters in Afghanistan, a time when our relations with Saudi Arabia were far less complicated.
