Have you tried discussing it with the current owners?

Reid, I've seen you post similar comments before, so let's set the record straight.

>>One day a previous Adman Jeff, with no explanation cut off her account that she paid $200 for.

False. That account has never been suspended or had its status changed since the day is was established. There was a disagreement with Jeff regarding deletions of some posts that contained links apparently "to SI" via means of linking through a third party "pornolizer". Some were removed because of the threads/forums they were in, and others were not because they were posted in forums where it was considered permissible. It would be handled in the same manner today, and if a user took exception to that and decided to cease posting in protest, that would be their prerogative.

To repeat, that account is as available for use today as it was on day one, and has been on every day in between. Those are the hard facts, and any claim to the contrary is untrue.

>>I guess that I should pursue SI for credit card fraud.

Setting aside for the moment what entity you would "pursue", there is no basis for a fraud claim since as described above the basis of the claim is completely meritless. Not to mention that it wasn't your account to "pursue".

>>Under Federal law the credit card company will take $200 from SI’s account and put in into her account while SI is being investigated for this.

That's beyond ludicrous on its face. The transaction occurred with an entirely different company and this company never received any money for that account. Further, Silicon Investor LLC purchased certain specific assets from InfoSpace, not the corporation and not the liabilities. Then you have the fact that it occurred over five years ago. Even assuming there was basis for a claim against InfoSpace, which there isn't, the statute of limitations undoubtedly have run long ago.

Even setting all of the above aside, you are left with the troubling fact that this account that was purportedly "cut off" years ago has been accessed and used in recent months.

>>Robin will win this case hands downs

There is no case. It's an incredible (as in "lacking credibility") piece of fiction, and always has been. It's just another way for you to bash Jeff, whom you didn't like.

>>I will make a phone call tomorrow to open this for resolution.

Good luck. You'll need it. :-)
