When the tyrant has disposed of foreign enemies by conquest...and there is nothing to fear from them, then he is always stirring up some war ~Plato How can America still be involved in a "global war on terror", when we haven't been attacked in a longer amount of time than it took us to fight World War II? Why has the "terror threat condition level" never dropped below "elevated" a single time since 9-11? Are they saying that in all that time there has not been one single time when there was no threat? Or more likely, that are fearless leaders are more afraid of what might happen if they told us the truth, and something snuck up on us anyway. Clearly it is more about domestic politics than it is about a "terror threat".

Maybe the right wing media bashers are actually wrong about the 'liberal media'. Maybe the media is just good at reporting the truth. The evidence of a Republican majority in the House of Representatives, Republican majority in the Senate, and a Republican White House seems to support this fact. What year was it that Republicans first took control of the House of Representatives, 1994?
