Depends what they do with that freedom, don't you think? If they chose to treat the US Army, but not Al Qaeda, as an enemy to be torn down and hindered in its operations, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

John, I know you remember Ernie Pyle. A good journalist, and one that would be horrified to read some of what we read by some of the so called journalists of today, I believe.

This link is really interesting. Has many of his articles from 1944....
