you can put a 3-month freeze on your account. i did, and it seems to be active well past the expiration period.

Not a bad idea....I have enough credit cards as it is anyways. Why wait for something bad to happen? If you put a freeze on it, they have to notify YOU to allow any credit extension.

As far as the credit reporting agencies go, they can GFT....<NG>
