What about dems like biden who are asking for more troops.

all the generals who are running this war say they have enough troops. Even General Clark who ran for democrat party as presidential representative said the generals say they have enough troops and i agree with them on Fox last night.

Because these democrats keep on looking for dates, more training, international action, doesn't mean they can do any better than criticize what is being done. Charlie Rangel was obscene in his comments last night. I find very little support by democrat leaders for our troops in Iraq , rather i see them hurting them.

It seems to me that there is a cadre of democrats led by biden, lieberman, clinton, bayh who are staking out a position to the right of Bush.

That puts Bush, Cheney, and Rummy in the middle then, doesn't it?

So they're Centrists. Moderates. Who'da thunk?

dems like Biden are saying something to sound important. They have no alternate plan, they just like to hear themselves talk. Kerry's op-ed was a masterpiece of arrogant blather.

Whether or not more troops would have been useful going in, that is water under the bridge. The question is, would more American troops help now, and the answer seems to be no; we are already drawing down our forces in Iraq. What is desperately needed is more Iraqi police, the kind you can trust, and those are being produced as fast as they can.
