"...get the complete picture."

I am well aware of your viewpoint on Bush. I am sorry that you missed the point.

The invasion of Iraq was not only irrelevant to the "war on terror", but badly botched as well.

This is only true IF you disbelieve the central thesis of the WOT which is that the spread of freedom, democracy and prosperity in the ME and other Muslim areas will remove the incentives and reasons that give people the motivation to adhere to radical Muslim doctrine dating from the 14th century and espoused by the likes of the Wahhabis, Taliban, etc.

I happen to believe Bush is correct in his central thesis.

Your characterization of President Bush and his Administration is of course, patently ridiculous and helps to classify you as just another Bush hating moron with plenty of bile but little substance.

J.

I'm with you. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but I had no idea what he would be like and was ready to give him a chance. He soon lost me. After 9/11, invading Afghanistan he had another chance to win me over, and lost me invading Iraq. I've disagreed with almost every decision he's made. If you can count on anything with the chimp, it's that he'll make the worst choice or decision possible. He doesn't care about consensus.

Self righteous, indignant, supremist, arrogant, intolerant, God hating liberals. Take your holier than God attitudes out to a 4th of July picnic this weekend and tell everyone how much you hate this country. I'll bet you will make the life of the party. All you whiney assed liberals justify your venomous slander with your spineless attachment to the freedom of speech. Slander is not an appropriate expression of freedom.

We tolerate the slander in this country because it is a constitutional right. Try running your fat mouth in a country like Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan where there are no human rights. Oh yeah, you want to protect the regimes that are repressing of all people that you don't feel like protecting. Just what in the name of God do you represent except for potty mouthed obscenities? Oh yeah, freedom of speech...

Happy 4th of July!!

>>>I did not oppose Bush as President when he was first elected. My objections to Bush are purely based on the remarkably stupid things he has done, and the sleazy way he has done them. The tax cuts were an obscene joke. The invasion of Iraq was not only irrelevant to the "war on terror", but badly botched as well. His failure on education and energy leave us vulnerable to long term catastrophe and the deficits are eating us alive. Bush is bad for the economy, bad for national security, bad for the environment, and bad for education. Throw in that idiotic smirking and the pack of jackals he has appointed and you get the complete picture.<<<

I don't know what the other "replies" will turn out to say, but I think you have summarized how at least a few million Americans feel. I didn't vote for Bush and never liked him, but I was sorry to find out that the reasons for NOT voting for him were even better than I could have imagined.
