I have always wondered why so many people like living in Florida. I hate it myself. Too flat, too hot, too humid, too many bugs and now too many people.

Eureka and Mendocino get lots of rain. Alligators and great white sharks on the golf courses; sometimes even at the same time. Sharks win 90% of the time. 20 miles inland, rain is more, but no water critters; bears, once in a while cougars on the greens.. Who would want to live there?

Yep, anything north of SF is fantastic, especially Vancouver BC ;-)
