Really? You think people who tune into a radio show and vote for republicans are "brainwashed"? That's the funniest thing I've heard all week.

Well, maybe some people think those who tune into NPR and vote for democrats are brainwashed too. That's also amusing.

Have you considered the possibility that the people who listen to him have a generally similar outlook with regard to current events? It seems quite logical to me. I've never seen any sign of lock-step thinking or brainwashing among his fans that I happen to know. I'm not a listener, but the ones I know are not in 100% agreement with him all of the time, but they enjoy the show enough to continue listening. I don't understand why you find that odd.

To me the definition of brainwashed are those who seem unable to read Limbaugh or listen to his commentary and then explain in any way how what Rush says is in any way not intelligent. But then states a generalized proffer on how all who listen to the guy who is to smart for it to understand are somehow brainwashed.

It would seem kholt fits my analysis perfectly. Such does not befuddle and fascinate me. It is simply the result of the distribution of not ready for anytime intellects.

Since that particular demographic (the brainwashed, for lack of a better word) continues to befuddle and fascinate me, I'm always looking for insights.

your remarks are taking on a deja vu sensation for me....

i remember how you spoke at great length when individuals challenged you on your usage of 'imaginary friend' when describing the belief system of religious people....

now "brainwashed, for lack of a better word"

may i suggest to you a dictionary?
