Scary, huh? Kind of shows how we fight our wars on the one hand and then fund our worst enemies and sell them arms on the other. It's like a military-industrial complex gone mad. I'd say that is a conspiracy theory, except it's all true. Then Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowitz changed the game a bit. Instead of pretending that it doesn't happen, they just dropped the veil and pointed out to the world that they don't care if everyone knows it is happening. Instead, they rub it in our faces and say, "We don't care if you know, because there is nothing you can do about it for 3 more years. And since we are smarter than you, we have CYA plans in place at every level, so you can never prosecute us after we're out of power."

And that is it in a nutshell.
