How about CRIS for basal cell carcinoma (I learn about it once a year from my dermatologist :-( - 3 this year, a new personal best.

GENR. I know Dew doesn't like it, but the payoff if it works and is safe would be huge.

Sorry if I repeat myself...

Straight face: Anormed. All you got to do is wait a year. Funds start to move in in 6 months, my prediction. You'll be able to take profits before P3 results, imo.

Face: Acambis. Not quite the deep value, but it actually does, and owns, stuff that can be measured in money. Take out price is 2x.

Not retreating from exel, incy, rigl, crme, BTW--but they are not, as there are not, that many silly cheap BTs at the moment.

(agree w/acad and arna as holds.)

baggers: How about PCOP and COR? Seems like you need to be small and then get lucky. Hope these at least have a chance...

GNVC

Someone is feeding a steady stream of GNVC to the market via inet. It will be interesting to see how the stock reacts when the seller is finished.

Hi Rick,

Thoughts, everyone? What do you have plenty of, that you also feel BELONGS in a smallcap basket??

I like Cytori Therapeutics (CYTDF.PK)as a bagger, but you probably could of already guessed that. How much in the next year? I won't comment, but if stem cells are going to make it, I think they have as good of a shot as any. Especially since the source of the cells won't disable you, and it avoids various transplatation concerns...bwdik?

Best of Luck,

SS

(disclaimer I got plenty and it's not very liquid)

Concerning the 20x strategy

A year (14 months) later, and VPHM has put in 12X of that 20.

So, we picked at least one good one. One good one is ALL that any smallcap bioinvestor needs.

One problem is in identifying and holding the 10X or 20X. I sold out of VPHM-at a good profit- just below $5- never imagining it could rise to the high teens. In a trading environment it just seemed to make sense at the time.
