"Perhaps AMD is giving them Geode technology. Does anyone know what process at AMD Geodes are built on?"

Almost certainly. AFAIK, all Geodes are fabbed out, including the K7 ones.

Neolib, All current Geode's are fabbed by TSMC (older Geodes acquired from NS; I think 180nm bulk) and UMC (K7 based Geodes; 130nm bulk).

Dragonfly whenever that comes out might be 90nm SOI K8 based. Big question mark that whole processor. Only thing we know for sure is that it'll be more advanced than current Geode's and that it'll be relevant in more or less the same space.
