I was a long time ago, during the late 60s. I definitely wasn't seeing them at their best which was understandable to me under the circumstances. Dartmouth was originally started as an Indian college hence the name but they were totally overshadowed by white anglos later on. I'm sure it would be different today.

It is a vital link to our past. The American Indians ruled the land for thousands of years. They developed cultures that were unlike European cultures. If the lessons they learned are not applicable today, they will be vital to solve some problems in the future. We would be fools to allow the history to be erased.
