It may be raining in LA but you don't have to drive far to be away from it.

In San Diego in the winter, we used to drive from sunny, warm temperatures at our house in OB/PL to Alpine or Julian where it would be cold and snowing, in less than an hour. That's the beauty of California. There's nothing else like it.

I could find a lot of stuff to do in your area as well. Geez, where to even start . . .

I'll defer to your opinion as you actually live in SoFLa and I just visit but I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could justify the cost of living.
