When you look at pictures like those (MID and RUT), and the financial sector, and the ever-expanding debt bubble, it really does make one think that tech stocks are the *exception* - the rest of the world seems to be in a fifth wave of the great 1980s-1990s secular bull. Perhaps the secular bear hasn't even really started yet...

Hey, illyia! How have you been?... ;)

This guy starts out by giving a sensible overview of some principles of EW, and then proceeds to find bearish overshoots on a bunch of indices. Maybe he's right, time will show...... To quote the author:

But until there is a change of trend, this is all just conversation. Keep it business because “it’s business, not personal.”

Cheers!

Hello, illyia!.. Good to see you...

FYI that "financialsense" link analysis pretty much agrees with the ED scenario I've been touting around here for some time now...

It's rare when you discover textbook examples of an ED (rising wedge), negative divergences, support/resistance and coherent wave patterns all on the same page.

If his counts on MID and RUT are correct then the throwovers will need to be quite short. Else his '3's will be the shortest motive waves.

As of today, besides the fact that there is no diagonal present, Goldberg's count on $MID is invalidated, as the 3 would now be shorter than both the 1 and 5.

So if we are not looking at a complete impulse wave here, or a diagonal triangle, then what is it? Obvious answer is the $MID is now in a iii of 3.

Gulp.
