The Clintons are vile in every sense. They typify all that is wrong with the Democratic party. They are truly "Bush lite" and not very lite at that.

Bush being even more vile does not make the Clintons any better in my eyes.

The main problem the Bush administration has, and has had since day
one, has been that they are focused like a lazer beam on channeling as
much public money as they possibly can to their friends and
contributers. Everything else is secondary. Everything. Look at Iraq.
Everything that involves making money like oil, military equipment that
must be replaced, rebuilding contracts and replacements/spare parts
contracts gets tended to immediately; The Oil Ministry gets protected
while every other ministry gets demolished. Meanwhile, soldiers don't
get enough armor and are forced to drink filthy water. They make
considerably less than the contractors they are forced to protect.
These people are the US military and the administration treats them
like some private security service for its millionaire friends. We have
no clear policy in Iraq. In fact, we never had a clearly stated purpose
in invading Iraq in the first place. The reasons kept changing. We have
no exit strategy and we cannot win because it didn't occur to the
administration that it might not go well. The administration didn't pay
much attention to the technical stuff or the possibility that things
might go wrong, because that simply is not where their mind was at.
They worked their asses off to sell Saddam Hussein as the greatest
threat to America since Hitler, even though there was no actual threat.
What there was was a whole lot of money to be made and once the tanks
started rolling, everything they did and said was geared towards making
money from the Iraq occupation and nevermind the cost in lives.

"Clinton may also be currying favor with conservative voters for his wife's sake." ... Absolutely! ... john
