Even if your utopian NUN were in existance, there would be waste and votes NZ would disagree with.

Like being allowed to moor a dang submarine and taking a couple of days R&R on the beach!!

You people are cruel forcing submarine crews to remain at sea longer than necessary. I'll bet the living conditions in Gitmo are better! hmmm, where did I put my copy of the Geneva convention.

Mq - Free Riding may sound like a dollars and sense thing, and perhaps you are paying more than other Kiwis (note no apostrophe) in dollars perhaps. I think the real crux of the matter is the cost in both dollars and the life and limbs of our young men and women. I do note however that on google I found that there were three Kiwis wounded in 2004 in Afghanistan when their Hummer hit a land mine.
