I'm one of the only people I know who don't like Tim's coffee. I'm a confirmed Second Cup person -- just brewed a fresh pot of Paradiso Dark. I'd take Tim's over Starbucks, though!

I notice a trend in many locations, Starbucks will open a location a few doors from a Second Cup, but neither are in any hurry to open next to a Tim's.

It could also be that Tim hortons has a monopoly when they sign a location on a mall I'm sure they don't want any one else selling the competitor product.

I once was almost buying a franchise of a competitor, when i did all the paper work and the things that I had to sign off, I just walked away.
