Yes you believe that but the fact that your slurs are not lies but are based on honest but false beliefs doesn't prevent them from being slurs.

Guns do kill, as we become less safe the more we have, not more safe. Dick Cheney is a perfect example.

Criminals having guns while normal people don't is a lot more dangerous than having a certain percentage of each group armed.

There is nothing in the 2nd Amendment about citizens being able to own military hardware.

"Military hardware" is a rather irrelevant idea. The NRA is not pushing for unrestricted ownership of automatic weapons, tanks, artilary, nukes ect.

Besdies, we already have militias, they're called the National Guard.

1 - The consitutional right is the right of the people. Not of a milita.

2 - The milita in the United States is not limited to the National Guard.

§ 311. Militia: composition and classes
Release date: 2005-07-12

(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.

As for racism - Racism is closely tied in to the history of gun control.

I wouldn't say most of the current advocates of gun control are racist, but the history of racism on this issue is on the side of the NRA's opponents.
