Israel brands film moral outrage
By Margaret Coker, Los Angeles Times- Washington Post

Tel Aviv: As Americans watch in suspense yesterday to find out which movies will win Oscars, Yossi Zur, an Israeli Jew, will be watching with dread.

The object of his dismay is Paradise Now, a contender in the best foreign film category from Palestine that Arab director Hani Abu Assad, also an Israeli citizen, says sheds light onto the motivations of Palestinian suicide bombers.

But Zur denounces the movie as a moral outrage.
