No, instead I spend my entire life thus far watching how Congress continually botches up women's issues and women's equality due to a complete lack of knowledge and exposure - whether that be for health care or many other things.

Take some responsibility. You should phrase the above as "I spend my entire life watching women fail to get elected to congress, and therefore women are failing to improve women's issues such as health care and equality."

The problem for women is that for whatever reason, they seem unable to organize into an effective political force. Women are more than 50% of the registered voters now. If they voted as a block, they could have majorities of women in all branches of government.

Amy, frankly I'm getting tired of you trying to hammer that point into my head, that we need more women leaders and that men just have to move over and accept that "truth." Anyone who doesn't completely see it your way has a "lack of empathy and understanding."

Meanwhile, you come across as extremely arrogant and close-minded, which is typical of your colleagues in your political circle. You say men like me feel "threatened" by women and diversity? Give me a break, you don't know me. Typical feminist prejudice.
