I disagree with vouchers. I will never support public money being spent in religious venues. I support experimental public schools, and all sorts of other public school initiatives, but our society is fractured enough as it is- I will never support anything that takes money away from public schools and gives it to private, often religious, schools.

Nation’s Report Card Shows That Private Schools Continue To Outperform Public Schools For the past 30 years, the Nation’s Report Card has included results from private schools and regularly has reported that students in private schools outperform students in public schools. These higher achievement levels of private school students also tended to increase the overall numbers reported for all U.S. schools. ncea.org
