Hillary does not have control. She is just very influential, mainly because Bill is behind her. But if she had control of the party, Howard Dean wouldn't be in charge of the DNC.

I believe that when it comes to picking a nominee, she won't be chosen. In fact, she might not even run.

McCain feels like old hat. He gave up his maverick credentials when he threw in with Bush, and he admits it. Still he's the presumed frontrunner. For now.

"I know a lot of moderates who like McCain." Me too. It's very strange. He's really rather conservative--and an asshole to boot. I don't quite get his appeal. My understanding is that he graduated toward the bottom of his U.S. Naval Academy class. Is being a prisoner of war some kind * on a resume? I see McCain as a--well--sort of a gregarious buffoon. Didn't he "call out" Barack Obama, a damn good guy?

McCain can get f**ked.
