There is a place near Ellensburg, when you turn up south and up the hill toward Yakima, that make me a bit teary every time I am there. Makes me think of, and sing if I'm by myself, "America the Beautiful"..... It's very pretty, and must be the view that so many of our early settlers saw and loved.

Looking out over fields of golden wheat waving in the wind as far as the eye can is very cathartic.
