"Being a lefty means we lose" Well yes and no. Being a lefty on social and cultural issues like gay rights could indeed mean a loss. But being a lefty on economic and foreign policy issues would attract huge support among average Americans sick of fighting and paying for imperialist wars largely fought at the behest of the Zionist lobby and seeing the upper crust get an ever larger share of the pie. But today's Dem "centrists" have it backward. They tend to be liberal on social issues but quite conservative on economic matters and downright belligerent on foreign policy.
