I've heard of it for years. I'm not sure there is actually an accepted genre, but there sure is cowboy poetry. I've posted some of Paul Croy's poems to you in the past. He wasn't a cowboy, but his poetry rings true to me. Message 20454233 Message 21197610 And of course there is always Robert Service. Message 21197467 My favorite poems might be called doggerel by genuine poets, but I really don't care. Here's a favorite Croy poem that I typed into another thread. It's a long poem, a perfect story.
