I never thought Bush was charismatic. For me, he was always the "Anti-Gore" and the "Anti-Kerry."

I not only suffer from Gore Derangement Syndrome, I also suffer from Kerry Derangement Syndrome.

I did use to think Cheney was kind of cute for an old guy, and Rumsfeld's sense of humor still tickles me.

but the few times I saw him in person, I found him totally unappealing.

I met Al Gore once. He was quite animated and not at all the tree stump he seems to be. Of course, he was visiting EPA at the time so his animation might have been an exception.

i always figured he drank too many highballs or smoked too much grass or other substances and blew out a few brains cells.

since i seem to have the same public speaking problem i can relate to him. g
