It's not just K8Ls there are Vectors, FPGAs, multithreaded processors and a whole new o/s required. Check the Analyst day Cray portion. It's a big project and K8L is almost certainly not a bottleneck. Do you have anything to contribute these days which isn't baseless FUD ?

Shoot, I think Joe Halada and BUGGI could slap that puppy together in a week. We have to assume K8L won't ship until late 2008.

The real message om that story is why anyone is basing a $200 million computer/contract on an Opteron if Woodcrest and family are so good and so available this year?

The CSI version of the NGA should be available by then- no?
