<There is a need for articulate, rational statesmen who are able to get beyond seeing the "others" as part of the conspiracy on both sides.>

This is just another statement of moral equilivalancy.

President Bush is leading a War on Terror. Admittedly it is not a WOT but a War against Radical Islam. Also Congress has never issued a formal declaration of war.

The Democrats are engaged in a war against President Bush and the security of the American people. This includes the NYT and the LAT newspapers which have repeatedly demonstrated their anti-American worldview.

I look forward with great anticipation to the Democrats laying out all of these "alarming things" this administration has done while they are campaigning for the '06 and '08 elections. Believe me, I will be paying close attention. It is the we have to do it right or the incompetency of this administration etc......crowd that I'm looking to for specifics. It is easy to sit back and make all kinds of accusations, and also hypocritical when, as Kerry did last night in an interview, proclaim that this administration doesn't have a plan and moments later explain that he'd adopt the same programs President Bush uses on how he'd handle the Iraq War. It is a difficult thing, convincing voters of your sincerity.

I want accurate and factual evidence, preferably laid out in chronological order along with clear footnotes. Of course the Internet should be the perfect forum for laying out their case. And it will be entertaining to watch democrats articulate and try to convince people how awful life in America really is and how they will make it better. I expect the same socialist programs to be offered, in a different package of course.

Their talking heads on the various news shows can't discuss a rutabaga without mentioning Bush or conservatives in a negative light, and I defy any of them to answer a straight question with a straight answer.

I'm sick of the yada yada.

They need to put up or shut up imo.

did you 81 year old mother-in-law start to critize Bush because democrats told her he was going to take away her social security?

try to look at the democrats who never came to the table to help stop the bleeding in social security. they would rather have the country run into debt than give credit to Bush on any bill that may make him look competent.

Democrats have done nothing. absolutely nothing but block initiatives during this administration. Their position is to critize everything and hopefully they will be in a position to run for office because Bush didn't fix anything.

democrats would have helped themselves with independents if they took seriously their jobs and passed a few bills or worked with the president to get a few bills through congress like tax changes or social security.

I can't see any reason why someone would vote any of the democrat leadership running for president.
