Yes, Gary, it's Karl Rove who's been declared a genius for his ability to win elections by attacking opponents. The Democratic Party has no such genius. It's gotten very much out of hand by both parties, but it's policy for the Republic Party, and the only policy it's able to carry off successfully -- aside from enriching the wealthiest 1% of the population at the expense of everyone else.
