The Afghans fighting to free their country are the ones on our side. The Afghans fighting to enslave the country are on the other side.

Also if the other side does take over than you have a new base for terrorism. I suppose we could still striker training camps from the air but they would probably be set up so as not to be easy targets and in any case frequent attack would mean that we were still waging war in Afghanistan, just not from the ground, and just in a less effective way.

Bill Clinton's Second Act

Samaruddin Stewart, AOL
We’ve asked many of the experts and world leaders here at the Clinton Global Initiative to name the biggest challenge facing us today. No one mentioned the Middle East, terrorism or climate change. Nearly everyone has said poverty.

Terry McAullife, the former Democratic National Committee Chairman, tells us some startling facts about what the former president has accomplished in Africa.

Steve Case explains what sets the Clinton Global Initiative apart from other philanthropic events and tells us why he’s donating millions for play pumps.

Clinton has received a lot of praise here for his post-presidency work. Has your opinion of him changed since he’s left office?
