Just a thought, but if you consider that crowd incorrigible (and I agree), why read their playground garbage at all? Just filter it out and spend your time with more productive pursuits.

I ditto that, eleutheria... This has become a childish struggle between the right and left.. If you are a Republican you will believe one way and the other side.... Dems are seen as believing the other.

I cannot see the connection between Studds or whatever his name is and Frank... The latter has never done anything but be open about his sexual proclivity... He lives with a man just as J.Edgar Hoover did all his life. And Clinton was between two consenting adults and someone squealed and Clinton got caught. Otherwise, no one would have known anymore about him than Eisenhower, Kennedy..etc..

The Priests who went after young boys were in fact pedophiles.. The link between homosexuals and pedophiles has a great disparity..

If only persons who believe so firmly in their political and religious convictions could open themselves up to explore all the facts before they make accusations. Instead of their being cognizant that people who are pedophiles have a problem and need understanding they are condemned... Now, I
am not excusing Foley for his problem but am more angry by his hypocrisy in heading the committee that he did and also having laws enforced to prevent the very thing he is accused or. As Dale said, suspicious about anyone who protests too much. Obviously he was aware of his own problem on some deep seated level and afraid...

We are all complicit... Too much blame is leveled against the two parties to a point where it almost a duel...I think if we were all visible to one another instead of being able to use aliases we would have duels...

I guess one of the more upsetting reads I got from another thread was that the Democrats planted the e mails... Now, come on... Where is rationality ?

We still have a war going on and 13 more of our servicemen were killed... I care more about that frankly than about
this latest hub bub.. How about you.

It will be a fine day in this country if people ever learn to separate the issue of being gay, from the issue of being a pedophile, in the way we separate being heterosexual from being a pedophile.

The problem is that all sexual behaviour lies on a continuum, with different people drawing sharp dividing lines at different points, with very little theoretical (biological) support for why the line should be at this exact point, and why the line has such high barriers of acceptability/abhorrence on either side. I understand my parents generation who found homosexuals beyond the pale, while I support gay marriage, and often wonder what the next generation or two will bring and how my views will be seen in retrospect.

My son made my wife and I watch a South Park episode from 2002 called Red Hot Catholic Love. It is so outrages BUT,,,quite tied into the pedophile culture of what we are seeing in D.C. This one is about a Priest who is trying to get the Vatican to change Holy Law in order to ban messing with boys. There is of course, the usual scatological subplot that one frequently has to tolerate on South Park to find the gems of these two creative genius's. GOP's are in a mess and somebody other than Foley needs to go to save face. Will it be Hastert?
