Dem Agenda: Draft Gays

FYI, I have been told Charlie Rangel served as an Airborne Ranger and did see combat.

I like his idea but think it needs to be expanded to include a larger slice of the (previously undraftable)population than the previously unacceptable gays:

1. Women - after all they fought long and hard for equal rights...Draft them.

2. The 50% of men who are not qualified for military service - They should not get a free ride this time. Put them to work elsewhere in government for a year or two, thereby also giving them a stake in America.

One of them is Rep. Charles Rangel of New York, chairman-designate of the House Ways and Means Committee, who has revived the idea of military conscription "as a way to deter politicians from launching wars,"

I find Charlies whole premise to be flawed and rather insulting to those that voted for the war. The insinuation here is that people that voted for the war did so because of some ulterior motive rather than because they thought it was the best thing for America. This isn't the first time some liberal has tried to foist this on us and it probably won't be the last.....
