Naomi! Oh my GOD! I'm so proud you're doing fine now. I couldn't agree with you more about this: I tend to think and in my opinion there are some doctors who are in cohoots with pharmaceutical companies and over prescribe their patients. I've thought this for years. My GP was a pharmacist for 15 years before becoming a doctor. She never seems to prescribe what all the other doctors are. She takes the time to look up everything. She still attends whatever she needs to attend in order to keep her pharmacy license. Most important thing is you're ok. How is your husband? Sometimes when things happen to us, they have a tendency to overlook their own health in the process. Is there someone around that's making sure he's doing and taking what he needs to? I'm sure there is but you know, it doesn't hurt to ask.<g> Houston has some of the most caring EMS. Really top notch in my opinion. This really is going to be a special Thanksgiving for you!! Please take care my friend and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Oh my gosh Naomi, God has a plan for you and didn't want you to leave us yet, thank heavens! This makes Thanksgiving extra special for all of the Gits. We love having you around to share your wonderful stories and your wit with us. From now on, listen to your body and please don't try to be Wonder Woman! Medicine can be wonderful, but as you found out, it also can be a killer.. After this I will get second and third opinions from other physicians to make sure I am not being over medicated ever again. Are you going to more than one doctor? Do you have one doctor who keeps tabs on all of your medicine? If not, you must do so, but by now you know that. Anyhow, so glad you're here to share Thanksgiving with us...

Oh Naomi....Thank heavens things turned out so well for you...I wondered where you were.... What were your symptoms that made your hubby call 911? Thank goodness he was home.... I loved your post...Thanks for being you, cyberspace or not. I'm SURE your family is delighted the way things turned out for you, and for all of them! Happy Thanksgiving long weekend....
