Which is not to say that I necessarily disfavour white gooey spreads. Or prefer one over the other. Both spreads are the same, other than colour of course. It didn't look to me as though Kramer lost control at all. He was quite reasoned. Making an outburst, then talking and reasoning with the audience, then more outburst. He was obviously trying to come up with an extreme response to counteract what he obviously thought was a very ill-mannered disruption of his show [whether that was true or not is somewhat beside the point, being merely the trigger for the proceedings]. Cracker-ass is an expression very like nigger, honkey, kyke, wop, gook, etc, but with a scatological aspect to it for added denigration, so it's quite a harsh racist epithet. The f-ing and mother-f-ing put the tone right down in the gutter where Kramer had invited his interlocutor to go. I doubt that you would choose to go to the gutter if you found yourself in a similar situation to Kramer's target. You might say, "That was uncalled for", but going on to add the rest would merely confirm the worse aspects of your character, which the interlocutor did confirm about himself, and which I think Kramer was pretty much inviting, just as Borat extracted interesting comments from his marks. You wonder whether "F-ing white boy" is racist. Accepting maybe it is. "Just maybe". How would you say "F-ing black boy" would be, racist or not racist? I would bet $10 to a knob of goat poop that if you said "F-ing black boy" anywhere, you would find a democratic vote giving you excellent racist credentials. "F-ing white boy" seems very like "F-ing black boy" to me. Racists tend to think racism directed against whites isn't racist because whites are so superior that they can just shrug it off, knowing they are superior. Or they make the excuse that since racism has traditionally been against non-whites, there is some score-settling to do on modern honkey cracker-asses who should pay reparations for something that happened centuries ago. "F-ing cracker-ass white boy mudder-fudder" is definitely a grossly vulgar highly insulting demeaning racist attack. I would like to have an apology. Some cash would be nice too. I wonder if that person has apologized. I doubt it. Racists don't apologize because they believe they are right. I am delighted that Kramer, like Borat, was able to draw out such racist vitriol as part of cultural learnings of America for make benefit glorious nation of Aotearoa, which, I noticed recently, has the same number of letters as Zimbabwe and forms a book-end at the opposite end of the alphabet. I don't accept that "white" was an acceptable description in the context. Kramer's melanin content was being used not as a descriptor, but as an insult. It's a shame that the insulted audience member didn't seem to know that Kramer is a Jew [which I didn't know either]. That might have made for even more exciting debate between the two. Mqurice
