I think Obama is a terrific person and an impressive individual.
But this crop of Republicans has done huge damage to the country in so many ways.. am inclined to lean toward the Democrat with the best chance to win. It is still early, but I would lean toward Gore.
We'll see. From now to 2008 is going to be quite a ride, if Bush doesn't declare martial law and install himself as El Stupido Imperio first...

Obama/Clark could beat McCain and anyone he chooses to run with...McCain is not really a maverick -- look at how he has flip flopped on big issues, was totally wrong on Iraq, and is way too close to Bush...McCain FAILED to provide the necessary oversite and ask the tough questions as we went into Iraq...Once we were in the war of choice he wants to dig the hole deeper...The quagmire in Iraq may drag him down. McCain looks tired and doesn't have the charisma and ability to connect that Obama has...The media has been in love with McCain but lets see how long that lasts.
