You're right. The article I quoted from did misquote NASA's report. However, upon reading your link I have no doubt as to what their opinion is on global warming. I'm confident that you and I are not expert enough to know how much damage global warming will inflict on the planet. Ergo, you do not know if Gore is "exaggerating" or not and if he is, then why do you believe that "...solutions to reduce atmospheric CO2 levels..." are not being sufficiently pursued? I believe that people are for more concerned about their political beliefs and agenda than they are about discussing what should be done about global warming. Why else would one drip scorn on someone who is trying to wake everybody up to what quite possibly is the most important global event of the future?

And I can't, for the life of me, understand why solutions to reduce atmospheric CO2 levels, such as detailed in the link below, are not being pursued..

Probably because of the vocal, but politically potent, Bush backing minority who are insisting that there is no "warming" issue.

so the problem I have is do we know if warmer is really bad ? NO!
Maybe that should be discussed also.. I live in Toronto ans we have a chalet in the Laurentians north of Montreal... Will the Lake Ontario engulf my home ? (I live within walking distance of the Lake) but I will be safe at the higher elevation of the chalet.. Is it time for some long term land speculation :O)

We seem to be in a relative cold snap :O)
