What is interesting is how the naysayers celebrate the odd fragment of information that seems to justify their thesis that it ain't happening while they would overlook this article in the same publication:

Certainly not, although many places in the southern hemisphere just had a colder than normal winter.

All I'm saying is that hyperbole and political meddling have no place in scientific research. On the subject of global warming, I see far too much agenda, often of a dubious nature, and far too little objective discourse. Weather and climate patterns and changes are a long way from being understood and noisy hysterical chattering about pending disasters succeeds in accomplishing zilch...

There is so much stuff out there to read.. it's astronomical.. I share some of James concerns on the hyberbole and that we don't get led in the wrong direction by hairbrained politicians..

for example if we are gonna get just a 5 metre rise by say 2100... should the US be trying to save it's east coast.. or move inland.. THose Nederlanders have a problem.. They could vanish.. like Florida..
