Mannie,
interesting info. I guess it is best to be on the left side of the growth bell curve than to be on the right side showing a declining 'mature' economy.
maybe the youthful average age of the Vietnamese, the emergence of a Vietnamese middle class, the large amounts of capital from abroad (investment & expatriated $US to families), the internet, economic & political stability (ever evolving...must not forget the Japanese economic model, the Korean economic model, the Chinese economic model> different political systems but each with vibrant economic growth...of recent & not- so- long ago years). I do not think the Vietnamese want to be left behind & it is of my opinion they will succeed very well.
irrational exuberance is a given this moment. it is only natural. barring any collapse of the $US, the economy of Viet Nam & most emerging countries will do well.
just my opinion this late in the day.
