The same here. Private enterprises that were well connected to the previous regime had to leave the country. Some were “persuaded” to leave the country. Some left and had some very unfortunate “accidents” happening with them.

Do not shed many tears for the ones who leave. First if they can’t stay is because they made money by being well connected and had sweet deals cut for them had previous government in their payroll, the usual…

Of course all of them pose as victims abroad. Oh, by the way, there are some people already getting ready to move once the new situation appears. Getting ready means stashing up the moolah and parking it out there to make use when they become the new “victms”.

Out of Indonesia it was siphoned USD115 billion in the aftermath of the melt down. Most of it is in China as the diaspora in another direction or called it FDI. Ask TJ.

They aren’t crazy to go out and start saying: We left all our clothes behind since after packing all the moolah there was not space for them :-)
