Don't tease me like that. I thought you were talking about Bill OReilly. Ed

"If you really cared about women's rights, and the rights of injured women to a fair trial, you wouldn't defend a man who sexually harassed a subordinate, and then lied about this and other similar acts when she sued him."

And I continue to be astonished at educated, professional women who align themselves with the right.

Equal rights for women is and has always been an issue of the democratic party. It would seem to me that you personally would identify and be grateful for that. It's one of the core reasons I've remained a democrat.

Maybe you're too young to appreciate the struggle and the adversarial roles of the two parties re equal rights for women and minorities???

At any rate, it's always been curious to me that any woman or black would identify with the republican party unless they are perhaps in ultra-high tax bracket. In the late 80's it became fashionable/popular to bash liberals. Everyone thought they were being so clever and original quoting rightwing pundits. Maybe that's what pulled many professional women and blacks away??

Perhaps you can enlighten me.

Being an Arkansas and perhaps closer to the truth than you even could be, I don't believe Clinton was guilty of sexual harrassment. Paula Jones was an opportunist funded by right-wing arkansas power brokers. Clinton settled civil suit to get rid of the crap. Trust me, Bill Clinton did not have to resort to harrassment, esp. a woman like PJ. Women threw themselves at Clinton.
