Congrats Bill, you managed to nail the top of a bull market in energy trusts stretching back to the last decade. In your sage words it was an opportunity "...too good for me to pass up..." I find it ironic that the only positive investment idea you've ever provided this board bombed completely and yet you think you're dispensing caution and wisdom. In fact, your only contribution has been to spew redundant scepticism which I find both insulting and pathetic. I can assure you Bill, all of us on this board are not neophytes in need of constant reminding that information put out by companies might be BS. No kidding! So your ability to piss on others ideas and due diligence is duly noted. By all means, go to the head of the class. But be careful Bill, Miss Market Teacher is sitting close by and she does not take kindly to those who lecture others about subjects they evidently know very little. You may find yourself in the corner wearing that funny hat again.

To All:

Back from vacation. Being away has given me a different perspective. I have sold my PBG, PTCH, and CLL holdlings and invested the proceeds into what is now the largest conventional Energy Royalty Trust, Penn West (PWE). The thirty cents (US) a share monthly dividend was too good for me to pass up---plus they have an opportunity to expand output which will/could grow the share price.

Therefore, I have abandoned my plans to investigate the feasibility of CLL's pipeline, or alternatively the feasiblity of its plan to truck(?)the resource to a refinery, since it is no longer my own concern.

I do feel that for CLL shareholders that is an issue to be concerned about, but you all may feel the share price reflects the risk.

Other than coming across information about these companies in my readings that would be of interest to all (such as in Oil & Gas Journal to which I subscribe) I won't posting about these investments.

In the future as my dividends accrue from PWE, and the 5 other energy trusts I own, I may decide to reenter the companies I sold. If & when that happens I would feel free to resume the debate about the merit and claims made by the supporters of the same.

Good luck to all with their investments and Thanks to all have posted here.

Bill

IMHO, the buying is too strong to say that "the patch in general has moved up with the price of oil and the institutions are placing their bets"
The heavy volume and rise suggests that at the very least some think that they know something about PBG that is not widely known. (This does not mean that they do)
The buying does not look like the public, since there appears to be no hype whatsoever. Certainly not any more than any other sands stock.
My 2 cents worth.
