Hi Ed....I just heard the same VN crap on Fox Noise. They wouldn't listen when people brought up VN in the beginning. Now they're authorities on VN. Why would anyone listen to a Republican argument now? Have these people had one single prediction prove accurate in six years?

We actually won in Iraq...just as soon as Saddam fell. BUT we didn't win the peace. I'm not sure in this time we could have, but we don't have military that are nation builders, nor do we have civilian corps set up to do that. The Dems WILL FUND the military. BUT they WILL make it impossible to spend it in support of our Military. No armored Humvees. No food. No ammunition No support. No trips for all the congresscritters to come over No planes to fly missions. NADAA to win. Bush asked for 21,00 more Military. He changed teams at the top. The Dems and some Repubs have been Screaming for several years we needed THOUSANDS more troops over there. The Generals in charge didn't agree. So maybe you will get your way cnyndwllr....the troops should come home IMMEDIATELY, the very instant the Congress defunds them by tying the Presidents hands on when the money can be spent. YOU and YOURS will be responsible totally if this country is hit with a terrorist attack, either Nuke, or Bio Weapon. And it will happen.
