OT: I would use a PM to admonish Tommasso for his OT shot at something he has no understanding or experience of -- the various scientifically-based experiments that are currently evaluating different approaches to dealing with the drug addiction problems on the streets of Vancouver -- except he has me on ignore.

BTW, a number of the addicts I have encountered when doing volunteer work on the streets of Vancouver's downtown eastside were from PEI.

Our federal taxes should be much lower. Problem is provinces are responsible (their jurisdiction) for education, health care etc.. but the feds want it their way and control a big purse... If they want to meddle they should work on a national securities commission (also a provincial jurisdiction).. This province by province stuff confuses even us :O) Right now I'm watching to see if the Conservatives pull off what the pigs did in animal farm.. after they were in power for a while.. emulate those they supplanted... The trust thing was not a good step in that vein..

PEI.. Quebec ? hey what about New Brunswick and Newfoundland.. New Brunswick.. Parts are just like eastern Quebec and the rest is just like New England.. Newfoundland... only province I have not seen... yet.. They have that Gaelic accent thing going on..

"Just don't let your government take money out of retired citizens' pensions and hand it out to vagrants so they can shoot up dope in Vancouver alleyways...."

You're not trying to stir up contoversy, are you ? <g>
