For the record, I have not banned anyone on this thread, nor do I have that capability (that I know of). What Tim said sounds right (about SI admin).

I think the business of the AMD moderated board should be conducted openly on the AMD moderated board.

This is precisely why I am very glad you are not the moderator of the moderated thread. Your approach would actually increase off topic posts, IMO. Things are not perfect over there now, but it is actually going fairly well - topic-wise anyway.

I don't think you could get much support for being moderator by bringing back the original four banned people. They were extremely disruptive to the board.
